Research

As far as we know the Dyfi Biosphere is the only Biosphere with a University in it! The area is very well used by researchers and academics, especially the Dyfi river and estuary by physical geographers, and Cors Fochno by climate and biological researchers. Two large scale action research projects (COBWEB and Cymerau/Hydrocitizenship) have used the area as test beds, which is one of the aspirations of Biospheres.
