The ‘Faces of the Biosphere’ initiative is creating a chain of people who want to share information with visitors to the area. Each knows about the aims and objectives of the Biosphere and also can talk about a local place, legend or attraction. They offer a personal perspective to visitors. The only qualifications required are an appreciation and love for the area and to be available for some of the time, for example by working or volunteering in a shop, café or similar establishment.
